Medical Esthetics Training One Day Workshop Calendar 2006back to home

Established in 1980, the Center for Appearance and Esteem (CFAE) / (RIFCA) has emerged as a forerunner in advanced training by meeting the needs of the medical community and the esthetics industry. CFAE  / (RIFCA) provides for the growing number of estheticians, cosmetologists, and health care professional seeking advanced technical skills in appearance counseling, dermatologic skin care and cosmetic rehabilitation with the techniques pioneered in camouflage makeup.

Great emphasis is placed on "hands-on" training similar to what the student can expect in a professional practice. Our focus is on job-related training and has resulted in placements of our graduates in medical teaching hospitals and dermatology, plastic and reconstructive surgeon's offices as medical estheticians throughout the United States, Canada, Europe, Africa and the Asian continent.

Our programs are highly regarded by doctors, hospitals and salons throughout the nation and internationally for the high caliber of our graduates. We are continually seeking to provide additional training programs that will serve the needs of our students.

Our career transitional training programs are the most exciting breakthrough of exhilarated learning you will ever encounter. Our courses contain the direct result of 28 years of experience in the medical community and the medical esthetics field. In our training programs you will be offered an opportunity to explore the myths behind skin care and other esthetic procedures to replace them with scientific facts. The information you will learn will place you well ahead of other candidates seeking top paying positions.

Career Considerations
Our training programs will provide you with:
higher profit potential.
larger patient demand.
higher salary potential.
flexible off hours.
more time for family, social and community affairs.
job diversity.
a way to maximize professional skills and prior experience.

Philosophy of Certification Accreditation
Our training programs are founded on the belief that specialized accreditation provides for the maintenance and enhancement of educational quality. The achievement of certification in medical esthetics/image development indicates to the esthetic/medical community, patients and to the general public that the program completed by the student had clear and appropriate educational objectives and that those objectives were fulfilled in compliance to the predetermined criteria of the State Review Boards that govern licensing policies.

Our objectives in this learning program are to:
prepare you for a major career transition by combining new scientific information and practical skills with your current preexisting esthetic/clinical knowledge.
provide you with all the necessary tools (working manual, textbook, cosmetic rehabilitation therapy kit, documentation forms, patient diagrams and follow-up physician report forms) to begin patient appointments immediately following graduation from our program.
issue you the necessary certification in the field of medical esthetics that will assure a physician that you possess the educational background required to fill a top paying position in his or her practice.
assist you with creating a workable business plan, a marketing proposal and compiling a patient portfolio to present when interviewing.
provide you with ongoing personalized, professional coaching after graduation.
help you develop the essential negotiating techniques that will guarantee you the appropriate benefits and salary package you deserve.
assist you in developing a strategic marketing approach for the patient population.
