After completing this postgraduate esthetic training for camouflage
therapy the skilled makeup artist / esthetician / cosmetologist will
be able to embark on an exciting career working closely with the patients
of dermatologists and plastic surgeons using basic & advanced corrective
makeup procedures to provide cosmetic rehabilitation to those suffering
from scarring or disfiguring diseases. Training is available through

This is the only accredited esthetic program that has been approved
by four separate licensing Boards including the Board of Registered
Nursing that is offering legitimate instruction & certification for
the specialty of medical esthetics. The curriculum in this program is
based on 12 years of actual clinical experience working in conjunction
with 17 professors on-site in teaching hospitals in both the medical
specialties of dermatology and plastic surgery. It offers insights into
clinical activities, dermatologic disorders, medical and esthetic therapies,
roles & responsibilities of the esthetic clinician, authentic patient
scenarios, charting and issues pertaining to legal documentation, patient
safety and injury protection and OSHA Standards. This course will provide
all the in-depth knowledge necessary to meet the needs of a medical

The most profitable market to target for skin care and cosmetic surgery
procedures are women who fall between the ages of 45-55. This easy to
understand course study is designed to enlighten the student on exactly
what happens before and after menopause and how the hormones affect
the skin, hair and nails. It offers invaluable, carefully researched
information on hormonal dysfunction and how it affects every aspect
of a woman's body both physiologically and psychologically. In addition,
it covers both the pros & cons of hormonal replacement therapy. After
completing this comprehensive learning program the nurse, cosmetologist,
or esthetician will be able to comfortably and confidently work alongside
internists, endocrinologists & gynecologists as well as other specialists
who provide traditional health care and alternative healing for women.
This is the only certification program of its kind worldwide where an
esthetician, cosmetologist or nurse with no prior knowledge of wardrobe
or image consulting can learn every aspect related to appearance counseling
and achieve certification upon graduation. Students learn everything
from the basics - line, texture, shape, color, and design to the serious
psychological implications involved when working as an image counselor.
In addition, all graduates are given expert business coaching and taught
step-by-step how to incorporate this new specialty into their skin care
practice as a separate business division. Practical considerations are
respectfully addressed such as; how to sell image packages and other
unique marketing ideas to help graduates launch this new service. Students
are also coached on how to give professional presentations and workshops
to the public, associations and organizations and how to attract the

This program is loaded with content about what it takes to become a
medical esthetic consultant to physicians and hospital administrators.
It provides vital information for the real-life application of the principles
learned. Students are given very specific guidelines for planning and
establishing an esthetic division in a medical practice or a teaching
hospital. All those who participate in this course study will be challenged
and will quickly learn how to apply the concepts they are introduced
to and to think critically. Topics covered include: how to position
yourself as an expert, financial compensation for professional services,
understanding the commercial world of medicine, business planning &
strategies, materials, inventory and equipment required, a complete
cost management plan, a six page quality assurance program, guidelines
for staffing, legal and ethical concerns, interpersonal dynamics of
interacting with medical personnel development and the presentation
of training programs, marketing and business coaching. Resource materials

No student shall be eligible to participate in any of the training
courses offered by the Rayner Institute or the Center For Appearance
& Esteem unless they have been personally interviewed by a career
counselor and have met all the requirements of the Admissions Board.
