Instruction for Professional Trainers / Veteran's Income Development Education

DISCUSSION OF VETERAN'S INCOME DEVELOPMENT EDUCATION PROJECT PROPOSED!

Confidence Coaching & Cosmetic Rehabilitation Program Proposal for Encouraging Employability & Recycled Business Skills for Income Development for Our Returning Service Personnel w/ Disabilities & Disfigurement.

The concept we envision could be launched through an educational provider who already possesses state Consumer Affairs Bureau for Private Postsecondary & Vocational Education Veteran’s Education approval and can gain state support for a project such as this that involves a combination of seminar and distance education training. What we would share with those who have the interest in helping veterans and the inclination to begin such an endeavor would be an outline for a project such as this that would revolve around a distance education program that could help to transfer the former expertise and knowledge of a member of our nation’s armed services into a privately run and community supported consultancy business. Veterans with disabilities and disfigurements would be offered a chance to regain a sense of their former selves through such a project. A test group of veterans would be carefully evaluated by a local state agencies and candidates selected based on their suitability for such a program. These individuals would be candidates who would benefit the most from a learning opportunity that would help to restore their ability to be financially self-sufficient and to become small business troubleshooters for local enterprises in their own communities. For veterans who were homebound or for disfigured veterans who preferred to remain conducting business activities inside the privacy of their homes rather than face unwanted stares or inquires about their conditions this academic income producing forum would be ideal. Once trained to be consultants they could be professionally active again and assist these veterans in revitalizing challenged business concerns and waning enterprises in their very own communities. Once their confidence is restored through a series of self-empowerment seminars and cosmetic rehabilitation for normalizing their appearance they would have the option helping the growth and development of business entities that could profit immensely from these veterans expert assistance.

What we are trying to propose is intended to be a six month distance learning program that could be structured for no more than 7-10 hours of involvement per week combined with a one-on-one coaching from volunteers of local associations . It is a model which we have created for this type of coursework and the establishment of a series of on-site seminars to help assist veterans returning to their homes and communities to smooth the transition. What we are recommending is a well thought-out

consulting course in close collaboration with other allied educators who can qualify & obtain approval from their state for veterans training. We will assist in sharing our information on seminar course content & help in devising the structure for on-site camouflage training& confidence building courses to devise a solid platform for the cosmetic rehabilitation workshops or if additional insights to execute this type of proposed community effort is required. Trainers must also seek and be approved by a recognized national agency that guarantees the stability of the coursework content. This is a necessary requirement for the funding of educational benefits to veterans and eligible persons under the provisions of Title 38 U.S. Code a project.
