Q: Does the tuition fee cover all the training materials I will need for the course?
A: Yes. There are no hidden costs. All of your supplies, including teaching aids, working manuals, textbooks and other technical support items
if applicable, are included or can be acquired from our loaning
libraries in the fee.
Q: Is the course associated with any manufacturer or is the educational material strictly academic?
A: The Center for Appearance and Esteem is not affiliated with nor obligated to any private industry commercial companies. All the educational criteria contained in our training programs has been developed through first hand experience in patient clinics working directly
w/ patients under the auspices of clinical faculty physicians in teaching hospitals. The greatest advantage of training with an experienced practitioner/instructor is that as a student you can become aware of the consequences behind certain actions while in the safety of a teaching environment, thereby safeguarding your professional reputation.
Q: When I graduate from the program, will I be able to get placement counseling?
A: Absolutely, without question. As a nationally recognized Rehabilitation and Vocational Institute our focus is to assist you in any way we can with your resume, interviews, job placement and any future career advancement goals you may be considering.
Q: What is the general tuition fee for the course?
A: Our tuition fees vary depending upon the course but
are always based on $50 per CEU offered. They range from $675.00 to no more than $2500 per course. Note: Student tuition is completely tax deductible. According to Treasury regulation 1.162-5 all expenses of Continuing Education (including travel, meals and lodging) taken to maintain and improve professional skills are approved by the United States government as legitimate tax deductible expenses.
Q: How many students per course are accepted for the on-site programs?
A: We limit our on-site seminar classes to a maximum of ten students
who qualify per course. This allows the instructor the opportunity to carefully examine any problems encountered by each of the students, to evaluate every student's unique potential and to meet each of the student's individual learning objectives.
Q: What should I do that will practically guarantee my success after I graduate?
A: How well you will fare under various clinical circumstances and situations will depend on your temperament and how well suited you are for the medical specialty you have chosen. For instance, a dermatology department or practice requires a practitioner who is a stickler for detail, whereas it takes a coolness and ability to work under constant stress in a plastic surgery practice. We offer career counseling for each of our students to ensure their skills and personality will match up with the demands of the particular position they are seeking.
Q: Does your Training Facility provide assistance with discount air travel, hotel rates and airport transfers to perspective students who are considering your on-site training programs?
A: Each of our student's specific traveling requirements are carefully attended to by our training coordinator.
