VICTORIA L. RAYNER

Pioneer in the field of clinical cosmetology and renown specialist in corrective and camouflage makeup. This is a new field servicing the needs of pre-and post-operative patients of facial or bodily surgeries, as well as burn and trauma survivors and individuals with congenital birthmarks or other disfigurements.

One of the original developers of camouflage techniques for this population including facial sculpting, corrective contouring, cosmetic rehabilitation makeup and image counseling.

     1. Created this clinic under the auspices of the Dermatology Department to serve the needs of patients with congenital, traumatic, or surgical lesions or other skin conditions severely impacting personal appearance, disfigurements such as; hemangiomas, fine capillaries, birthmarks, dark circles, pigment problems, tattoos, and burn scars.
     2. In cooperation with dermatologists and surgeons, developed guidelines for product use, especially as part of medical treatment plans for dermatologic disorders and pre- and post-operative patients.
     3. Established a quality assurance program for the practice of camouflage therapy and medical esthetics.
     4. Lectured to dermatology, ENT and maxillofacial residents and visiting faculty from the United States, Canada, Europe, Africa and the Asian continent
